NDM Market is a retail and wholesale international food company offering a remarkable selection of global foods, general merchandise, and household items sourced from around the world.

Our Story

Our goal is to enrich and serve the many international communities around us, and give access to everyday essentials in convenient, welcoming stores. We are proud to support local organizations like the Atlanta Community Food Bank, partner with local small businesses, and enriching our community, such as hosting lectures at Georgia Gwinnett College.

At NDM Market, we believe food truly connects people and cultures, which is why we offer a wide selection of products from Caribbean, Latin, African, European, Middle Eastern, Asian, and more. We strive to offer a comfortable shopping experience where you can get your regular produce and meats while also being able to seamlessly travel the world, aisle by aisle.

History

Our founding store opened in Duluth, GA in 2005. Since then, our company has expanded to eight total locations throughout the Greater Atlanta area and continues to grow steadily. We have recently celebrated our 20-year anniversary, and we continue to be grateful to serve the communities we do.

We began with one store and with that, have built a reputation among Georgians for providing a variety of fresh produce, all at an unbeatable value. As we continue to grow, we will continue to proudly serve the people around us with care, consistency, and commitment to affordability.

What Does NDM Mean?

NDM stands for Nam Dae Mun, also known as the Great Southern Gate. It is the first National Treasure of South Korea, and it stands as one of eight pagoda style fortress walls built during the Joseon Reign.

During the Joseon Reign under King Taejo, the markets around the gate were established thus creating a rich merchant community that traded fish, grains, fruit, and other miscellaneous goods. Namdaemun market today stands as a 24-hour market full of diversity and culture.
